FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Everything you want to know before you start, from your first conversation to the final measurement.

For professionals

Is this for me?

Most likely, yes. After all, we always conduct our own evaluation based on a qEEG, cognitive testing and a detailed questionnaire to determine the right program for you. Even if there are no direct indications of cognitive overload, we can still offer a cognitive enhancement and/or educational program. If the results show we're not the right partner for you, we'll say so and help you find who is.

Can I try it first?

Yes. You can book an introductory session and experience part of our training program for yourself, before you commit to anything.

How do I get started?

There are three ways to reach us. Choose the one that feels right for you:
1. Reach out yourself: use the contact button or the contact details at the bottom of this page.
2. Ask your HR manager or team lead to contact us on your behalf.
3. Ask your GP or specialist to refer you to us.

Do I need a prescription?

No. Our programs are based on non-invasive screening and functional training, no medical treatment; you don't need a prescription. Referred by your GP or specialist? You're just as welcome.

Is it safe?

Yes, absolutely. The sensors used in neurofeedback only read signals and measure; they don't send or transmit anything. The neurostimulation is extremely safe; it only uses a micro level current (even less than an in-ear hearing aid), is FDA, CE and MDR approved and will only be advised after the all-clear of our neurologist.

How much time does it take?

The training program is always tailored to your needs. The duration ranges from three to eight weeks, with sessions of 30 minutes, three to five times a week. It's designed to fit alongside a full-time job.

Can I train from home?

Yes. We provide the equipment, you find a quiet spot, at home or at the office. Your first session and final measurement usually take place at FORMIND, but we can also come to you.

What support do I get?

A passionate expert team that's always accessible and a personal brain trainer, walking beside you from your first session to your last. We start together by explaining how everything works and do your first training sessions side by side. Once you're training on your own, we follow every session remotely and fine-tune your program as you go. Your coach stays in close contact by phone or video call, daily or several times a week, depending on your program.

What happens at the end?

We repeat the measurement from the start, so you can see your evolution throughout your program. You receive a detailed report, which belongs to you alone, along with advice on how to stay sharp for the long run.

Will my employer see my results?

Only what you choose to share. Your measurements and final report belong to you.

Will my insurance cover it?

Depending on your health insurer or private insurance policy, part of your program may be reimbursed. Check with your insurer, and we'll gladly provide the documents you need. Your employer can also apply for different subsidies and financial incentives for sustainable HR policies and professional development.

What does it cost?

That depends on your program. We would love to walk you through this in person during a call or introductory meeting. Either way, you'll know exactly what you're committing to, in time and in money, before you start.

Can I stop whenever I want?

Yes, it's your program. If you decide to stop early, we'll look together at whether you can pick it up again later and whether we can share an interim report of your progress so far. Please bear in mind, though, that a full or partial refund may no longer be possible at that stage, as set out in our terms and conditions.

What if it doesn't work for me?

You won't be left guessing. Because we follow your brain activity from the first measurement to the last, we can analyze how it's responding. Sometimes the progress isn't there, or you don't feel the difference you hoped for. Then we go through your data together. Maybe a different approach fits you better, or one of our partners is the right next step.

For organizations

What's in it for our organization?

Some people in your organization carry a heavy load. But when they've been taking on too much, the signs start to show in their focus, punctuality and decisions long before it turns into absence. We train their mind for resilience and efficiency and teach them how to keep it sharp for the long run.

Who in our organization is it for?

You might think of some key players first, the high achievers in your company. But this really applies to anyone occasionally dealing with heavy stress. You might come to us for one person whose focus isn't what it used to be. Or you might want to keep a team sharp before the pressure builds. Every program starts with an individual measurement, so each person gets the training that fits them.

Does it take people away from work?

Hardly. Sessions take only 30 minutes, three to five times a week, at the office or at home. All your employee needs is this time at a quiet spot, protected in their working week. Only the first session and the final measurement usually take place at FORMIND, and we can do this at your workplace too.

What do we get to see as an employer?

Upon completion of the program, a certificate detailing the completed program is issued to both the employer and the participant. The measurements and final report belong to the participant, in compliance with EU Regulations; they decide what to share. This ensures that candidates feel fully protected and empowered to give it their all, and that commitment is what gets results.

How do we suggest it to an employee?

It is an exceptionally valuable opportunity and a significant personal enrichment for any employee selected to participate. Get in touch with us; we're happy to walk them through it. What matters most is their willingness to participate. The program is intense and asks for real commitment but the greater the effort, the stronger the results.

Can it help someone who's getting back to work?

Yes, absolutely. Training can start while someone is still away and carry on as they pick up their work again. It will give them the necessary power and resilience, not only to get back on track, but above all, to ensure sustainable recovery without relapse.

How does this fit with our prevention advisor or occupational physician?

Alongside them, not instead of them. Our programs are training, not medical treatment, so they add to the support you already have in place.

What does it cost?

That depends on the program and the number of people selected to embark on their journey. Get in touch and we'll make you a quote tailored to your organization. Either way, you'll know exactly what you're committing to, in time, money and return on investment, before anyone starts.

How do we get started?

Please get in touch and talk to us; use the contact button or the contact details at the bottom of this page. We'll explain how we work and look together at what fits your organization. You're welcome to try part of the training yourself.
